Edit Articles

The ‘Edit Articles’ section allows you to edit previously created articles. Below is a description of how to edit an article:


Category

Select Category
The first thing that you need to do is choose the category where the article that you would like to edit is located. To do this, click on the box below the word ‘Select Category’, scroll over the desired category and click on it. Once you have done that, click on the ‘Select’ button. The screen will refresh with the articles contained in that category will now be shown.

NOTE: If you have previously deleted a category that contained articles, then they will be placed into a category titled ‘No Category Chosen’. Under this category, you will be able to edit and reassign the articles to other categories if so desired. These articles will not be visible to visitors of your website until they are placed in an active category.

Article

Article Name
Below the ‘Select Category’ box, on the left hand side you will see the Article’s Name.

Date
To the right of the ‘Article’s Name’ you will see the date that the article was created.

View Count
Next to the ‘Date’ you will see the number of people that have viewed that article.

Edit
Next to the ‘View Count’ is the ‘Edit’ button. If you would like to edit a specific article, then click on the ‘Edit’ button that is in line with the desired article.

Up
To move the position of the article up one space, press the ‘Up’ button and the article will move up one space.

Note: The order that your article appears in Mark 4 is the same order that they will appear on your website.

Down
To move the position of the article down one space, press the ‘Down’ button and the article will move down one space.

Note: The order that your article appears in Mark 4 is the same order that they will appear on your website.

Delete
If you want to delete an article, click on the ‘Delete’ button. You will be taken to the ‘Delete Item Conformation’ screen to confirm

At the ‘Delete Item Conformation’ screen, you will be asked to verify ‘Are you sure you want to delete this?’ If you are sure you want to delete the article, click on the ‘Delete’ button, otherwise click on the ‘Cancel’ button to return to the ‘Edit Articles’ page.
